Salewa has to return to Lagos for her mother’s funeral, a place where she was once forced to hide. At the funeral, she meets an important person from her past and is forced to set out in search of her own peace. Nigerian filmmaker Olive Nwosus’ short film is a meditation on home, memory and identity – and ultimately on the many versions of ourselves.
